Bugs & Exploits

Abusing bugs or exploits to gain an advantage in games, events, or site mechanics is strictly forbidden and may result in a ban.

Reporting bugs with clear evidence and steps to reproduce them is appreciated and may be rewarded at the discretion of staff.

Chat Rules

Please keep all chat communication in English. Common, casual non-English words (e.g., "merci", "hola") are fine.

Harassment, including threats, discrimination, or obsessive behavior, is not tolerated.

Spamming (sending rapid or repeated messages) is not allowed.

Self-promotion or advertising in public chat is prohibited (e.g., links, usernames, Discord invites, social handles).

Begging (repeatedly asking for items or favors) is not allowed in chat.

Light-hearted trash talk is okay (e.g., “easy win”), but excessive toxicity, rants, or personal attacks are not.

Slurs or hate speech, including racial, homophobic, or otherwise discriminatory language, are never tolerated—regardless of intent or identity. This applies to usernames, bios, and chat.

Profiles

Profile pictures must stay PG-13. No NSFW or graphic imagery is allowed.

Self-promotion is allowed in user bios and usernames only. Promoting outside of those areas (e.g., in chat or status messages) is not permitted.

Usernames must be appropriate—no offensive language, hate symbols, or shock content.

Accounts

Selling, buying, or trading accounts for any form of value is not allowed. Violating this will result in an immediate ban.

Account sharing is not permitted. You are responsible for what happens on your account. Do not share login details.

Each player is allowed a maximum of two accounts. Additional accounts may be terminated at any time.

Moderation & Enforcement

Rules are enforced at the discretion of the current moderator or admin. Their judgment is final in any given situation.

If no staff are online, users are encouraged to use common sense and report rule-breakers.

While staff have the right to mute or ban users as needed, misuse of moderation powers by staff may result in demotion or removal.

Trades & Exchanges

Staff generally do not mediate trades or user-to-user exchanges. Trade at your own risk.

That said, scamming is still punishable. With valid proof (screenshots, logs), action will be taken against scammers.

Other Rules

You must be 13 years or older to use Rust Collector.

Use common sense. If you’re unsure whether something is allowed—it probably isn’t.

Exchanging in-game virtual items for anything outside the platform (goods, services, or currency) is prohibited and may lead to account termination.

Exploiting the automute system to silence yourself or others is considered abuse and will lead to longer mutes.
